Sorors Carmen Hicks and Tanya England both members of the Board of Directors for the Rockland Family Shelter attended a star studded performance at the Riverspace in Nyack, NY that benefited the Rockland Family Shelter and V-Day. A few provocative and compelling selections were read from Eve Enseler's latest book, "A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer” is a collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights. Stories about violence against women edited by Eve Ensler. V-Day is a national organization that works to end violence against women and girls. The Rockland Family Shelter is a recognized leader in the fight against domestic violence in Rockland County since 1979. Eve Ensler is pictured here with Sorors Carmen and Tanya.
